Someone once described A51 as "splatter comedy" and the name just took. Not everyone dies in an A51 gag, but there's about an 85% chance that it will end in death, mayhem and dismemberment.

A Top 25 Podcast for over 8 months!
During 2005, over 5000 people a week downloaded and enjoyed "The Area 51 Show", and voted it as one of their favorites. Over a quarter of a million downloads, which is not bad for a group of guys (and gals) who didn't know if anyone would be listening. Since then, emails keep pouring in asking for more, and we would really like to give it to them. (figuratively)
Is audio-comedy "theater of the mind" dead?
We don't think so. A51's style is usually very funny because you CAN'T see anything, and it's really hard imagining a visual element for these shows... But, so many fans wanted to see something, that we made a few of the show segments into video clips. (above) Some of these are starting to get very popular at MySpace.com, so check 'em out!
